Can I use a Nikon SB 29s ring flash on a D90?
How objective diameter can be used with the SB-29, if it can be used? 62mm? 67mm? 72mm? Just curious as I am in the market to buy a ring flash for macro and portrait work in close distance. If not, what (profitable) ring-type flash would you recommend that is not hundreds of dollars!
According to the site in the Nikon camera compatibility / Flash, the SB-29 can be used on the D90 in the manual, rear curtain. You can watch XOTOPRO QMM1 of macro photography lighting equipment. http://www.xotopro.com This unit is reviewed in the August 2009 issue of Shutterbug. According to the website http://www.shutterbug.com XOTOPRO the unit is fully compatible with your's i-TTL Nikon measurement.
